Meet Cynthia

I Love animals.  Animals are my life - my children are my dogs, cats and fish. I've always had animals as a child but didn't really start working with them until I became an adult. Prior to working with animals, I was working with elderly people as a certified nurse; I did private duty for 6 years. 

I started working with animals back in 2007, after Hurricane Katrina. I traveled to Louisiana to rescue lost animals bringing them back home through the SPCA and other rescue organizations. When Hurricane Ike hit Houston, I helped rescue animals again by helping misplaced animals find owners. After that, I was a volunteer for the SPCA for 8 months and then started working at an animal clinic as a kennel worker/bather and groomer asst. Shortly after that, I began training as a vet tech at a local vet clinic. I have been a Pet-sitter throughout those years and also a volunteer for the SPCA with the Snap mobile clinic to trap spay/neuter and release feral cats.
